We’ve been working behind the scenes for a while now to shape the future of our studio. If you’ve been with us in the past, you know that my priorities have slowly changed over the past years from mainly photographing newborns and baby’s first year to creating exciting fantasy art and legacy portraits for your family.
We’re turning yet another page, and I’m thrilled to announce that our studio is evolving! ArtCafe Photography is transitioning to ArtCafe Studios, a name that reflects us growing and dreaming bigger together. While change is in the air, one thing remains the same โ our commitment to capturing your family’s most treasured moments.
A New Name, A Broader Vision
We’re shifting gears from ArtCafe Photography to ArtCafe Studios. Why the change? It reflects my expanded vision and the diverse artistic avenues I’m exploring. It’s about so much more than “just” photography now. We’re about creating experiences that stir the soul, heal, bring joy, and stand the test of time.
I believe in the profound impact art can have on our well-being. It offers a sanctuary where creativity and healing intertwine. My journey into healing art is not a new chapter but a testament to the transformative power of art I’ve witnessed and experienced firsthand.
A Personal Journey into Art Therapy
I’m exploring the healing aspects of art on a personal and professional level. Pursuing certification as an Art Therapy Practitioner, I’m learning more about ways art influences our emotions, psyche, and overall health. Furthermore, I’m studying sound therapy and meditative drawing as ways to find more calmness. This isn’t about a career shift but a deepening of my understanding and appreciation for art’s therapeutic potential, inspired by the countless moments in the studio where I’ve seen art touch and transform lives.
Giving Back Through Art
This year, I’m embracing a spirit of giving and community, channeling my passion for art into causes that are most important to me. My main focus will be fundraisers, our impactful Inside Out Project, Rainbow Bridge Portraits, legacy sessions, and exciting challenges for you (aka free sessions!).
These initiatives are not just about giving back but about inspiring change and making a difference, and I hope you’ll be a part of this journey. I’m also planning on adding stress relief and mindfulness classes through creating art later this year. Who couldn’t use more of that in our fast-paced lives?
In line with this change of focus, we’re streamlining our event offerings for 2024. While pausing our usual events calendar, our cherished Santa and Christmas Experiences will continue to bring joy and wonder to your family’s holiday season.
While this year might look different with fewer scheduled events, our dedication to creating exceptional experiences and stunning art for your home remains strong. Our studio is not just a place for photography; it’s a place where your stories come alive. You’re not just a client; you’re the heart of what we do.
I invite you to join us in this journey of growth, giving, and artistic exploration. Together, we’ll continue to capture life’s fleeting moments, turning them into timeless treasures that resonate with love, joy, and a touch of magic.ย
