Kerstin is an award-winning photographer known for her passion for storytelling, a touch of whimsy, and a sprinkle of magic. She is the driving force behind the fantastical portraits that come to life through her lens and artistic vision. With her camera as her wand and her creativity as her compass, Kerstin guides you on a journey to capture the magic that lies within your dreams.
With years of experience and a deep understanding of composition and digital artistry, she seamlessly blends the world of photography and digital painting.

Kerstin’s mission is to create more than just portraits; she seeks to awaken the childlike wonder within each client. Through her lens, she captures the children’s and adults’ fleeing dreams, transforming them into works of art that will be cherished for a lifetime. She loves to connect with people, foster a comfortable environment, and bring out the inner hero or heroine in anyone who enters the studio.
As someone who practices what she preaches, Kerstin dreams up adventures for herself and her family year-round. While you usually find her in jeans and a shirt, she loves to play dress-up and get into character. It is essential for her to show the many adults who sigh during their child’s session, “I wish I could do something like this.” that there is no age limit to dream, imagine, and have a magical time.
Kerstin’s family made it a tradition years ago to create Holiday fantasy scenes every year and display them in their home. These portraits also make for the most anticipated Christmas cards in town!
Kerstin’s love for animals shines as brightly as her studio flash! After saying a tough goodbye to her beloved cat Celeste in 2023, her home felt a little too quiet. In 2024, three adorable rescue kitties, Tillie, Tate, and Lila, joined her family. They quickly became models for her artwork.
Kerstin’s passion for animals doesn’t stop at home; she brings her love to the studio, too. Several times a year, she organizes pet portrait fundraisers in collaboration with other animal lovers to support our four-legged friends in need through animal rescues.
And for those who have had to say farewell to their cherished pets, Kerstin creates beautiful Rainbow Bridge portraits, ensuring that the memories of our beloved furballs live on forever.

Kerstin has a quirky obsession with pens and pencils, a love for all things potatoes, Arachnophobia, and a never-ending desire to learn something new. She was born in Germany and has a cherished collection of her dad’s old camera and light meter, along with some beautiful old photographs.
