A few times throughout the year, we host special portrait events at Loudoun Cat Care in Leesburg, Virginia, where pet lovers can capture beautiful portraits of their furry family members while supporting an incredible cause.
The idea is simple:
adorable portraits + fundraising = a win for everyone.
Our pet portrait fundraisers bring together animal lovers, photography, and community support for rescue cats.
Portraits With Purpose
These events benefit The Feline Foundation of Greater Washington, a volunteer-driven nonprofit dedicated to rescuing cats, providing veterinary care and foster homes, and helping them find loving forever families.
Every portrait session helps support that mission. Even better? 100% of the proceeds from these events are donated. That means your pet’s portrait isn’t just a cute photo – it’s part of something bigger.
A Fun Event for Pets and Their Humans
Each fundraiser has its own personality. Some events feature seasonal themes like spring, summer, fall, or the holidays. Others focus on timeless portraits that highlight your pet’s natural charm.
But the spirit of the event is always the same:
• relaxed and fun sessions
• lots of laughter (and the occasional zoomie to escape the madness)
• a community of animal lovers coming together for a good cause
Whether your pet is a seasoned model or a little camera-shy, these sessions are designed to be quick, easy, and (relatively) stress-free.
And yes, humans are welcome to join in for certain fundraisers, too.
All Pets Welcome
Cats and dogs may be the most common guests, but we photograph just about everything from rabbits and birds to guinea pigs and bearded dragons. If they’re part of your family, they’re welcome.

Unlike a traditional portrait session, these events are intentionally simple. Sessions are short, so we can photograph as many pets as possible without stressing them out.
Some portraits are playful and silly, others are elegant and timeless. All of them celebrate the joy our pets bring into our lives. Many families turn these portraits into holiday cards, framed artwork, or meaningful keepsakes.

🐾Option 1 – ONE IMAGE
💿 Digital File only – $40 or
📸 Digital File + 8×10 Print – $60
🐾 Option 2 – THREE IMAGES
💿 Digital Files only – $80 or
📸 Digital Files + 8×10 Prints – $110
📌 Pricing is per image per time slot, whether it’s one pet or multiple pets together.
📌 If you would like your pets photographed separately, each pet will be priced individually per image.

ALL PROCEEDS from these events will be donated to The Feline Foundation to support cats in need.

How to Participate in a Pet Portrait Fundraiser
🐾 Choose the event dates that work for you.
🐾 Sign up early once the sign-up link is live – spots fill quickly!
🐾 Bring your pet (and family, if allowed) for a quick and fun session.
🐾 Receive high-quality portraits while supporting a great cause.
📌 Important Event Information (The Boring but Important Small Print)
📌 All pets are welcome!
These events are not restricted to cats. Bring your dog, bird, bearded dragon, rat, or any beloved pet!
📌 Photos will be taken of PETS ONLY unless otherwise specified.
📌 One appointment per household.
Please arrive on time to keep things running smoothly. If your pet is anxious or uncooperative, you might consider booking two back-to-back sessions (additional donation required).
📌 All pets must be leashed or in a secure carrier until their session begins.
This is for their safety and the comfort of all attendees.
📌 Sessions are short and sweet!
These are fundraisers, not custom sessions, so time is limited to ensure we can photograph as many pets as possible.
📌 No special requests.
Due to the nature of the events, we cannot accommodate custom setups, poses, or retouching requests. Rest assured, we will do our best to provide you with unique and beautiful images while trying to keep your pet’s stress level low.
📌 Digital files will be delivered via email.
The timeframe will be specified at the event. Please double-check your email address when you arrive.
📌 All product printing is handled through a professional print lab.
If you choose printed options, your portraits will be produced on archival-quality paper to ensure exceptional color accuracy and longevity. Your pet’s portrait deserves nothing less than the best!
